Lemons

The acid in lemon juice removes dirt and rust stains. It's more effective when mixed with salt.

How To Clean With Lemons

Copper

add some salt with lemon jouce, and clean spots from your copper.

Countertops:

Countertop stains can be removed by allowing lemon juice to sit on the stain for a few minutes.  Don't leave the lemon juice sitting for too long.

Drains:

Hot water with a little lemon poured down a drain will clean the drain.

Cutting boards: 

Squeeze onto the soiled surface, rub, and let sit for 20 minutes before rinsing.

Dishes:

Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to dishwashing detergent,.

Hands: 

Rub your hands with lemon juice, which will neutralize bad odor.

Laundry:

To brighten whites, add small amount of lemon juice to the rinse cycle.

Use lemons to clean sink faucets and remove lime scale build-up. 

Lemon juice can disolve soap scum and hard water deposits.
