Make a conscious effort to turn off the water while you brush your
teeth.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says, "The average bathroom
faucet flows at a rate of two gallons per minute. Turning off the tap
while brushing your teeth in the morning and at bedtime can save up to
8 gallons of water per day, which equals 240 gallons a month!" Applying
this practice equals saving 2,880 gallons of water each year for every
individual in the United States who takes this simple step.
2,880 gallons = 10901.98 liters
